Shawn Nanny is a 6th generation TEXAN! He grew up on the property his ancestors settled in 1859.
Shawn has lived in Precinct 4 for 28 years. He and Angela have been married for 25 years and have a son, 24 and a daughter, 20.
The Tom Green County Commissioners oversee an annual budget of over 50 million dollars. They are responsible for building and maintaining county roads and bridges, a well as facilities including the multi-million dollar jail, the library and the courthouse. They oversee indigent care and services, keep the county in line with state mandates, and set and collect taxes.
To be an effective County Commissioner, you have to be willing to work hard. Shawn Nanny will get the work done!
I have had the privilege to know Shawn Nanny for the past 11 years and have had the distinct honor to serve with him as trustees on the Christoval ISD Board of Trustees. I have not only spent a great deal of time in getting to know who Shawn is personally, but also who Shawn is as a representative of the people.
